Watching The Kentucky Derby? Make A Mint Julep!

The Kentucky Derby is tomorrow and we’re celebrating with a delicious mint julep recipe!

The Kentucky Derby is tomorrow and we can’t wait to see all of the festivities and hats surrounding the famous horse race. Whether you are watching the races from the track, at home, or at your local bar, chances are mint juleps will be involved. Enjoy these scrumptious mint julep drink recipes by The Village Pourhouse and Jim Beam. Even if you lose any bets you may place, at least you’ll have a refreshing beverage!

Pourhouse Mint Julep

Mint Sprigs
2.5oz Makers Mark
1 tsp powdered sugar
2 tsp water

Directions:

Mix together

Jim Beam Mint Julep

Ingredients
1 part Jim Beam® Bourbon
splash water
pinch granulated sugar
finely crushed ice
fresh mint

Preparation
In a collins glass, dissolve the sugar in a splash of water. Fill the glass with crushed ice and add Jim Beam® Bourbon. Stir contents until the glass becomes frosty, adding more ice if necessary. (Don’t hold the glass in your hand while stirring.) Garnish the glass with sprigs of mint.

I’ve learn a few excellent stuff here. Definitely value bookmarking for revisiting. I surprise how a lot attempt you set to create any such great informative site.
