Four-Year-Old Shot And Killed By His Own Sibling! How Terrible!

The unsupervised pair were playing with the bolt-action rifle at their home in Victoria County, Texas when it went off, hitting the younger sibling in the stomach.

Amazingly the children’s parents were AT HOME when the accident happened on May 4. Are they to blame?After hearing the gunshot, the parents called 911 and then drove the wounded four-year-old to meet paramedics — but he tragically died at Victoria’s Citizens Medical Center just 30 minutes after the alarm was raised.

The Sheriff’s Office has closed ranks, refusing to release the name of the family and even the gender of the older sibling — but they’ve vowed to investigate how the children were allowed access to weapons and why they were left unsupervised.

This tragic accident is sure to fuel the ongoing debate about gun laws in the US.

ya because children shooting each other is a positive thing, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

This makes me SICK. Gun laws in the states are just ridiculous. I feel like saying: It’s all your own fault”. Because in some way it is. Why do you have to have weapons at home???? WHY??? Noone (Or only very few people) needs weapons at home in Germany or other countries!

Why do we need guns at home? So I can protect my family that is why! The fault here ls with the parents.

unless you’re in the middle of a gang-riddled city, there is no need for you to have a gun to protect your family. use a baseball bat or kitchen knife like everyone else. guns are unnecessary in society and should be illegal to have in most cases.

we keep guns to protect our self too ,, never know and yes !! it is the parent’s fault , my kids 5,7,10 know that they must NOT play with daddy & mommy’s guy we go hunting every yr and play skeet , at a young age we teach our kids about the guns … PLUS PLUS we NEVER keep it loaded that IS THE FIRST THING U NEVER DO
