Mystic Falls’ resident she-wolf tells us the sacrifice will change everything. Who do YOU think will die tonight?

When we last left Jules (Michaela McManus) on The Vampire Diaries, she was chained up and ready to be sacrificed by Klaus (Joseph Morgan) — and it doesn’t sound like her situation will be getting any better after tonight’s episode. “Nothing will be the same again,” Michaela tells HollywoodLife.com. But does that mean Jules will be one of the victims Nina Dobrev alluded to in her latest interview?

Michaela won’t say, of course, but she does echo her castmates’ sentiments that “tonight’s episode is going to be intense.” She also wants her fans to know she’s had a blast playing Jules.

“I love playing this person who has to be incredibly independent and strong while coping with all the turmoil and fear that goes along with being a werewolf,” she tells us. “As an actor, I really haven’t had the chance to do a lot of action and it’s been amazing. I’m surprised with how much I love those scenes.”

And even though many viewers consider Jules to be the enemy, Michaela doesn’t quite see it that way.

“I don’t think Jules is evil, but I can see why people think that,” she admits. “I just feel very protective of her. I think everything she’s done comes from a place of wanting to safeguard Tyler [Michael Trevino.]  You have to put yourself in her shoes. She’s been through a lot too.

If we do end up losing Jules tonight, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing Michaela again in the near future. She tells us she just finished working on REM, a “really cool” pilot for NBC.

“It’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read, very unique and special,” she tells us. “It’s exciting to be part of something you totally connect with.”
