The Duchess proves that she’s so down-to-earth by picking up some things to eat — just days after the Royal Wedding!
Kate Middleton had millions of eyes on her during the Royal Wedding on April 29, but she was just an everywoman when she was spotted grocery shopping May 5!
She was casually dressed in a green sweater, jeans and ballet flats and looked very normal — if obviously beautiful — dashing through the parking lot of her local Waitrose grocery store on the island of Anglesey, in North Wales, the Daily Mail reports.
Kate, 29, picked up some staples at Waitrose — the British equivalent to Whole Foods — but enough special items that onlookers speculated she might be planning a great meal for her new hubby Prince William.
“It looked like she was stocking up on the basics, but she also bought a few special items, so perhaps she was preparing their first romantic meal as a married couple,” an onlooker said.
We’re sure we’ll see many more shots like this, since the couple opted to not hire any chefs or butlers outside of their security detail.
What a cute, down-to-earth couple!

Royals used to have somebody else wipe their bum, so it’s refreshing that Kate pushes her own trolley. Maybe she has the audacity to wipe her own bum and hasn’t yet become so jaded by fame and fortune that she thinks she’s too good for such a dirty job.
