Prince Harry’s on-again, off-again girlfriend definitely wants to follow in Kate’s footsteps, trying on a cheaper version of wedges identical to ones we often see on the new bride!
When Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, stepped out for the very first time after the Royal Wedding all eyes were on her — including Chelsy Davy‘s! The new bride looked vibrant in a blue dress from Zara and her go-to pair of patent LK Bennett wedges (which retail for $214.62), and apparently Chelsy wants to follow in her footsteps, literally! While shoe shopping Chelsy was caught slipping into a cheaper version of shoes identical to the pair we saw on Kate, both before and after the Royal Wedding!
Chelsy even went straight to the Office, a store in London’s King’s Road, while indulging in retail therapy. King’s Road happens to be Kate’s go-to shopping stop. On the eve before her wedding, Kate was spotted in the black patent wedges — and we saw them on her the day after the Royal Wedding, too! While Kate’s patent shoes have a modest wedge and cost approximately $215, the pair Chelsy tried on were suede, had a high rattan heel compared to the modest cork height of Kate’s, and at $99 are a fraction of the price!
While Chelsy left the shoe store empty handed, it looks like Prince Harry’s on-again girlfriend is definitely trying to emulate Kate. Considering she was his date and witnessed the gorgeous Royal Wedding first hand, we can’t say we blame her!
