Deadline reports that Sam Claflin is being cast as the prince in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’. He has multiple kissing scenes with Kristen Stewart!

Up-and-coming actor Sam Claflin is finalizing talks with Universal Pictures to become the prince in Snow White and the Huntsman, our sister site Deadline reports. In the version of the script that we read, which is always subject to change, Sam’s character is called Prince Charmant and has three kissing scenes with Miss Snow White, played by Kristen Stewart.

The Rupert Sanders-directed version of Snow White focuses on a badass leading lady who learns to fend for herself with the help of a huntsman, as her prince searches for her. The huntsman character has not been decided yet, although Deadline reports Chris Hemsworth has an offer.

So who is this boy we’ll see kissing Kristen Stewart? Sam is a 24-year-old English actor who just starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and is considering an offer opposite Jeff Bridges and Julianne Moore in The Seventh Son.
