Do you think Bush totally dissed Obama, or was he right to refuse his invite?
President Obama will make a trip to New York City’s Ground Zero on May 5 in honor of Osama Bin Laden‘s recent assassination, but one V.I.P. won’t be in attendance — Former president George W. Bush! The former president, who led the hunt for Bin Laden following the original attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001, respectfully declined Obama’s invite. According to Bush’s spokesman David Sherzer, “He appreciated the invite, but has chosen in his post-presidency to remain largely out of the spotlight.”

It may look like ex-Pres. George Bush snobbed President Obama, but I think he rejected it out of repect and courtesy. This is Pres. Obamas triump and ex-Pres. Bush applauded and praised Obamas for his courage rightaway when he heard the news. Although Pres. Bush started the hunting for Bin Ladin, but he was unlucky to finish the job. And now this is Pres. Obamas victory and I think Bush knows how important this moment for Obama especially election is getting nearer, so Bush decided not to get half of the spotlight from him.
