Casey was shockingly kicked off ‘American Idol’ on April 28 – and he reveals to HollywoodLife.com how he’s carrying on now!
American Idol‘s Casey Abrams spoke with us exclusively at MTV’s The Seven and despite leaving the show, Casey couldn’t have been in better spirits. The 20-year-old singer, who suffered from intestinal issues on-and-off during the 10th season of Idol, finally puts the speculation into his love life to rest!
Casey told us there’s “no hope” for a relationship with Idol contestant Haley Reinhardt.
“We weren’t actually dating,” Casey tells us. “I miss her and still talk to her, and make sure she’s doing OK. There is no hope for a romantic relationship … just a musical relationship.”
Hmm, we wonder if that means she dumped him?
But Casey didn’t appear to be too let down, adding: “I’m completely single. I let love come to me.”
We love this guy and we’re sure we’ll hear more great things from him soon! Like maybe a relationship, too?

I miss him so much already!
Thank goodness he is not with Haley. He is too good for her. I think she used him to get buzz and improve. Unfortunately Casey got lost in the shuffle.
It ´s so sad. He was the best talent there! Really hope his career takes off soon and someone signs him soon.
