Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have been through long distance before and a source tells HollywoodLife.com they’re taking their current separation in stride! Do YOU think they’ll last?
When it comes to busy schedules and long distance relationships, this isn’t Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth‘s first time at the rodeo. They have lived through far worse trials and tribulations throughout the last two years, so an insider says the couple isn’t concerned in the slightest about Miley being on tour for the next several months.
“They are dating and really not worrying about being apart,” a source close to Miley tells HollywoodLife.com.”They understand each other’s schedules and will do what they have to do to make it work. There are no problems.”
So what are Miley, 18, and 21-year-old Liam‘s secrets for keeping their relationship hot when they are separated by thousands of miles?
“They’re big on communication,” the insider explains. “They’ll definitely be in touch with phones and Skype and stuff like that!”
In fact, some fans believe Liam actually came to support Miley for her first show of the Gypsy Heart Tour in Quito, Ecuador April 29. One fan taped Miley singing “7 Things,” and zoomed the lens backstage where Miley’s mom, Tish Cyrus, and a boy who looks like Liam were watching.
UPDATE: Liam’s rep tells HollywoodLife.com Liam wasn’t at the concert in Ecuador. That is someone else in the video!

I think that’s her co-manager, Jason Morey, of Morey Creative Management. The other co-manager in her management team, of course, is Tish Cyrus, her mom. The video is a bit too grainy to be sure though. It’s definitely not Liam Hemsworth. It’s good to hear that Liam is back in Miley’s life. He seems to be a good solid influence on her and anybody who lives in a whirlwind like she does needs someone to lean on. For someone her age, family alone is not enough to provide the kind of emotional support she needs. Who knows how long she’ll be together with Liam. People that age don’t often end up finding their life partner, but that doesn’t really matter. If they are happy now, that’s what’s important. Liam will be with her on the Australian leg of the tour, and now that Miley is 18, she can kick back and have a beer or two in that country where the drinking-age laws are a bit more civilized than they are in backwards America.
