Although it feels like the Royal Wedding just happened, designers are working at a feverish pace to recreate the instantly iconic gown Kate wore down the aisle!
One of the most breathtaking moments during the Royal Wedding on Apr. 29 was watching Kate Middleton walk down the aisle of Westminster Abbey in her gorgeous Sarah Burton gown — and if you’re dying to wear a dress just like Kate’s on your special day than you’re in luck!
Brides-to-be all over the world will be able to dress just like Kate on their big day, in as little as four to eight weeks, thanks to a variety of ‘inspired’ versions. David’s Bridal has a dress in the works, along with brand Faviana who already completed Kate and Pippa’s two dresses! Kate’s ceremony dress retails for $1,800, while her second look is priced at $1,300. JS Collections is already taking pre-orders, with their Royal Wedding dress retailing at $698.
While most brands are crafting gowns for mass production if you want something a bit more unique, A.B.S. by Allen Schwartz plans to auction off a one-of-a-kind dress inspired by Kate’s at the Annual Race to Erase MS event in LA — and bidding is open until May 16!
While I thought Kate looked absolutely stunning, I don’t think I would want to wear a dress that was an exact replica on my special day — would you?
