Funny thing is, he is still the poorest member of the Smith brood!
It’s official. Jaden, 12, and Willow Smith, 10, no longer have to ask for allowance from mom and dad, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith — the all-star kids are raking in loads of money on their own. Jaden reportedly pulled in a whopping seven figures for starring in The Karate Kid! How nuts is that?
TMZ.com obtained Jaden’s Karate Kid contract from June 2009 — when he was only 10-years-old — and his up-front fee alone was $1,000,000! He was given the money in two installments — one for $900,000 and another for $100,000.
But Jaden received even more money after the film topped $150 million in the domestic box offices– a $2 million bonus!
So even though the documents show Jaden made $3 million, with the movie’s success and all the perks that came along with it, it’s being estimated that the 12-year-old made a whole lot more!

Why is it crazy? The movie made $350 million. He made the biggest share of money because the move hit revenue targets. That’s business.
Why should it matter that he’s young? The movie would have failed had he not been able to carry the lead role. Other young actors make the same money if not more.
How much money does Nicholas Cage make for all of the terrible lemons he’s made? Cage makes one bad crapfest after the other. And he makes millions just to sign on the line. At this point, I don’t want to watch another Cage film, especially if he’s macking on a 20-something girl. Eeww! Woody Allen? Meet Nicholas Cage.
