‘The Bachelor’ winner says she’s losing her baby weight just by eating healthy and running around with her daughter Ava!
Former Bachelor winner Melissa Rycroft sure is one lucky mommy. The 28-year-old reality star tells HollyBaby.com that she’s basically doing nothing but eating healthy to lose the baby weight she gained while pregnant with her now 2 1/2-month-old daughter Ava Grace Strickland!
“I tried to stay as healthy as possible during the pregnancy, so it’s kind of made it a little bit easier,” Melissa tells us at the Race to Erase MS event in Century City, Calif. on April 29. “But I think everyone will agree — it’s not easy trying to lose baby weight no matter how much or little you gained!”
“You never know how your body is going to react, and you don’t know what’s going to happen,” Melissa continues. “You just kind of have to take the card that you’re dealt.”
As a first-time mom, Melissa isn’t finding that she has much time to work out. Instead, she and her family are “just trying to watch what we eat,” says Melissa. “And trying to keep up with the kiddo — she’s our priority right now.”
“I feel very, very selfish right now, saying I’m going to go to the gym for 4 hours a day when I have a baby,” Melissa adds.
BFFs — don’t you think it’s incredible that Melissa looks so amazing just 2 months after having a baby — and she’s basically doing nothing to shed the pounds? Share your thoughts with us!
