'Desperate Housewives' Recap: Felicia Poisons Paul — Is He FINALLY Dead?

Relive Paul’s possible death & all the other Wisteria Lane shenanigans in this week’s ‘Desperate Housewives’ review!

As I predicted, Gabby’s (Eva Longoria) stay at Chez Van De Kamp was nothing short of a disaster on the May 1 episode of Desperate Housewives. Not only did Juanita and Celia totally wreck Bree’s (Marcia Cross) house, but once Carlos (Ricardo Chavira) told the girls about Bree’s involvement in their grandmother’s death, they called the cops on her!

Fortunately for Bree, the detective who arrived on the scene just happened to be the same one she got all flirty with a few days earlier. Oh, Bree… when will you learn that all of your relationships end in either heartache, death or quadriplegia? (If ever there were a character on this show that should become a nun, it’s totally Bree.)

Speaking of relationships built to fail, Tom (Doug Savant) and Lynette (Felicity Huffman) had marital spat #2,879 this week; and yes, it involved Tom’s one-time lover René (Vanessa Williams.) Tom hired Lynette and René to redecorate his office — they have an interior design firm, remember? — and they butted heads over the best way to represent Tom’s status through furniture. This led to yet another Tom-Lynette battle in which he tells her she can’t handle him being successful and she bottles up her emotions like a Catholic.

And then there’s good ol’ Felicia (Harriet Harris.) This week’s evil plot found her slipping poison into the dishes Susan (Teri Hatcher) was cooking for Paul (Mark Moses), a poison that would gradually shut down Paul’s system. And it looks like the two-fingered psychopath’s plan might be working, as Paul collapsed during the episode’s final moments, clutching his heart.

Oh Felicia, what did you do? …
