Kate Middleton may have shocked many in her decision to choose a fashion forward and, dare we say, talented and innovative designer to craft her gown in Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton, but her beau and his brother are sticking to tradition!
“Prince William has chosen to wear the uniform of Colonel of the Irish Guards on his Wedding Day. Prince William, who is commissioned in all three Armed Services, and who has served actively with the Army (The Household Cavalry Regiment) and with the Royal Air Force (Search and Rescue Force), chose to wear the uniform of his senior honorary appointment in the Army,” the Clarence House Twitter reported.

All I can say is “how happy I am for Prince William and Duchess Kate – I started interceding for them when it came to light that they would wed in April – why? Because these boys were well groomed by the late mum who was down to earth and to me, they have remained humble boys – as a mother of 4 boys, I take pleasure in interceding for those whose parents have departed and feel it is my duty to do so – and pray that they are always there for each other and support one another in whatever they do.
