Jenelle starts community service on her drug-paraphernalia plea just days before she could go to trial in her trespassing case!
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans heads to court again on April 29 — this time to battle out charges of breaking and entering, tresspassing, injury to property and making harassing phone calls resulting from the break-in at her former friend Jaelanie Salas‘ home.
“Jenelle’s the defendant…” Jenelle’s attorney Dustin Sullivan tells HollyBaby.com exclusively. “The state witness, Jaelanie, didn’t show up at the first court date — and I don’t anticipate she’ll show up tomorrow.”
“If this happens, I will try to get the charges dismissed,” continues Dustin. “If they are not dismissed, we would have a trial” – and it would start right away.
If Jaelanie does not show up again, the state would ask for a continuance. “But it’s up to the judge…” says Dustin. “If it’s denied, the state would take a dismissal on all of the charges.”
But if the case does go to trial, Jenelle, 19, would be looking at more probation time in addition to what she’s already serving from pleading guilty to drug paraphernalia possession on April 14.
On April 27, Jenelle started the 24 hours of community service she must complete within 60 days of her April 14 sentencing date.
