‘The Voice’ Premieres Tonight! Will It Be Better Than ‘American Idol’ & ‘X Factor?’

NBC’s new show ‘The Voice’ takes a different spin on the traditional singing competition! Check out the extended sneak preview and tell us if you will tune in tonight to watch!

American Idol and America’s Got Talent have dominated the ranks of primetime talent searches, but NBC is bringing a new contender to the table that breaks the rules of conventional singing competitions. It’s not about the looks, the wardrobe, or the stage presence — it’s all about the voice!
In the first stage of The Voice, the best singers from across the country are selected to do a blind audition in front of a panel of superstar judges. Christina Aguilera,Cee Lo Greene, Blake Shelton, and Adam Levine listen with their backs to the performers, and turn around if they are impressed by the talent. By rotating their chairs to greet the voice, the judges claim their favorite performers to make up teams of future superstars.

Once the teams are established, the judges devote themselves to grooming their posse of potential stars. Each week the judges must pick two members of their own team to have a sing-off and are obliged to send  home the weaker performer.

The Voice, is going against some pretty stiff competition like the veteran television hit American Idol and the new highly anticipated The X Factor. We like The Voice because it’s finally a singing competition that is based solely off vocal talent, rather than appearance.

It will be interesting to see how the chemistry plays out between the judges — their interactions will make or break the show. Having the judges decide who goes home will hopefully prevent the best talent from slipping through the cracks, but it also excludes the America from the fun. Watch the preview and tell us what you think about the show! Will you tune in to watch The Voice tonight?

You actually make it appear really easy together with your presentation but I to find this topic to be actually one thing which I believe I’d by no means understand. It kind of feels too complicated and very wide for me. I’m taking a look ahead on your subsequent publish, I’ll try to get the cling of it!

I never really watch any of these shows but when you were advertising this new show I thought I would tune in. It is amazing I love it. The show is not even over and I think you truly have a winner on your hands. The great thing is they can’t see the singers until they hit that button. Thanks for bringing something refreshing to tv.
