Mom-Of-10 Jailed For Starving Her Kids In A Cockroach-Infested Slum – The Worst Mom In the World?!

A British woman has been locked up after neglecting her 10 kids, whose bodies were malnourished, their skin ingrained in dirt and their hair crawling in lice.

Incredibly the un-named mom-from-hell was jailed for JUST 18 months after pleading guilty to abusing her kids between 2006 to 2009. Surely that sentence is too soft!

Police in the London borough of Haringey were alerted to the house of horrors after neighbors grew concerned about the kids’ conditions and the adult nature of their conversations, reports the Evening Standard newspaper.

And authorities were appalled by what they found. The house was infested in cockroaches and lice, kitchen cupboards contained just rotting food and the kids were so dirty, foster carers struggled to get them clean.

One baby hadn’t been changed for so long, the skin beneath her diaper was red raw. Other children had to be bathed twice, because the water they left behind the first time was so dirty.

The mom’s former partner has also been jailed on five counts of child cruelty and authorities in London are now probing how the abuse went unnoticed for so long.

how sad for those children. these things are happening every day and the woman sentece aint long enough. the kids have a longer sentence. children dont ask to be born.im a single mother with six kids i love them so much.

Haringey is the same district where the Baby P case and Victoria Climbie cases occurred. WTF is wrong with child protective services over there? As humans, we all fail.

This kind of short sentencing happens all the time. In North America too. It’s quite sad that an individual can cause years upon years of trauma and cruelty to innocent children and get away with such light reprimands.

At a time when a human being’s life is at its most vulnerable, you would think that the law would come down hard.

That sentence is insulting to those 10 children.

18 months not long enough?

Come on, sonny, this is England in the 21st century.

Didn’t you hear that we mollycoddle criminals because we are so concerned about their human rights?

We all know what sentence she should have got ( boyfriend too ) but that kind of thing went out with the Spanish Inquisition.

That woman (beast) going to a U.K. prison is comparable to me going to Butlins in that she is going to eat better than she did at home, sleep better than she did at home & get better entertainment than she did at home – the only difference is the tax payer will pay 4 her holiday while I still have to pay for mine!
Short sentance because the prisons are full?-MAYBE they would nto be so full if we had a death sentance. Not saying she would qualify for death but there would more cells available for a longer sentance – oh and miss the odd meal out as well so she gets a taste of her own medicine.
