The most famous granny in the world is celebrating her special day today — 8 days before the Prince William’s wedding!

It’s an exciting week in Buckingham Palace, as Queen Elizabeth II celebrates her 85th birthday and Prince William, along with fiancee Kate Middleton, prepare to walk down the aisle at Westminster Abbey! We hope the Queen likes cake!

Queen Elizabeth II, who is married to Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, is the mother of Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Princess Anne, Princess Royal, Prince Andrew, Duke of York and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

She is also, of course, the grandmother of groom-to-be Prince William and his younger brother Prince Harry, Peter and Zara Phillips, Princess Beatrice of York and Princess Eugenie of York, Lady Louise Windsor James and Viscount Severn.
