While I commend the popstar for her good deed, can you believe the bids are already up to $5,000 — for that get-up?
If you’re totally obsessed with Britney Spears, you’ll be happy to hear that now you can own one of her get-ups from the late ’90s. The star must’ve been cleaning out her closet when she stumbled upon this black top (that resembles a sports bra) and an insanely over-sized pair of white pants she wore for a Japanese candy commercial back in 1999.
I’m not surprised she decided to part with this get-up, but I commend the star for auctioning it off to benefit Japan. If you’re interested in owning something that Brit Brit once wore, I suggest checking the balance on your account before placing a bid — with two days left it’s already up to $4,998.78.
Putting the good cause aside, would you pay this get-up?

she looks so cute in that picture. breaks my heart that she went through such tough times thereafter. in any case, i think this was a very thoughtful and sweet gesture.
