Charice FINALLY Returns To 'Glee' Tonight — Look Out, Lea Michele!

Chasters, your wait is finally over! Sunshine Corazon has been sorely missed from Glee ever since she appeared — and quickly disappeared — in the hallowed halls of McKinley High this past fall. But now she’s back, and Charice told HollywoodLife.com we can expect more tension between her character and Lea Michele‘s Rachel. ”I’ve been reading comments on my Twitter, and I’m really happy to know the fans are excited,” she told us in a phone call April 18. “Ryan [Murphy] has made the fans wait, but in a good way.”

And while Sunshine is busy battling Rachel, Charice is buddying up with another one of the show’s stars: Jane Lynch!

“I feel like I’m a six-year-old kid,” Charice also revealed. “She’s really tall, but I love Jane. When I was on set, she was the first one who talked to me. We got close. She’s really sweet.”

nobody can sing like charice and i mean nobody. lea is better actress that is because charice never really acted before. it takes time and with charice’s unbelievable talent she will get there. i think that charice is every bit as good an actress as mercedes.

I like the both as singers. But since this is a tv show with singing I want the great singer and actor…that would be Lea.

@stop, Acting has been Lea’s strength as she’s been doin Broadway since her birth. Charice just had few lines in 2 episodes, so what do you expect. For a newbie I think she is great. Charice is a better performer. Charice can sing any genre including rap, dance

Naps; Correction Lea’s strengths are acting and singing that is why she was hired as the lead female in a show about singing.

She wasn’t hire as a stunt guest star.

You are saying that there is bad acting on the part of one artist, Charice, and the director did not see it! They still showed that episode and they even made a promo showing Charice bad acting. It means the director is not good. You saw it but Mr. Murphy did not. We should ask to replace the director.

I like your logic and analysis! Have you really checked how long was Charice dialogues from Night of Neglect compare to Audition? The dialogues were longer the second time. Do you think a good director will think twice if he found out how bad the artist is the first time? If there is bad acting then definitely there is bad directing. You all really don’t like Mr. Murphy.

charice and lea have different style, they are both amazing in their way,leah is a broadway singer while charice is a pop singer, leah can’t do what charice did because charice is a versatile artist she can sing any type of music, while leah is only broadway, do you think leah can sing rap and fast song, no, so charice is way better than leah ok,,,

Stop commenting when you don’t know the fact.s

Charice could not’ even get All by myself in the top 20 on itunes.

Lea has gotten every song she has sung in the top 20 except Now a days but it has only two lines of songs in tit.

@please if that’s how you judge a good singer based on sales then i recommend to let the other singer(s) sing the same song and let’s see who got the higher sales. For me between Charice and Rachel they cannot be compared they both talented at their own rights.

If there is any polls around virtual world or any place where i can give my full support to Charice i’ll do it then.. Rachelle is good the way she is and i like her but Charice touches every single part of my heart … she’s one good example of this generation lucky me i belong on that… and so you… 100% will support her and all my family, friends, neighbors, office mate, even friends of my friends.

I don’t expect Charice to be really good in acting, she didn’t get much acting lessons. As a singer, all I can say is “goosebumps” I never knew of a singer who gets so much standing ovations after singing live. Sometimes she gets it even in the middle of a song.

Rachel is more into broadway and acting because that is how she was trained. Charice is more into Live singing, pop and Rnb, power ballads.. she actually sounds better and more powerful when she sings live than when pre-recorded.

Both good,,,, no doubt,,Lea’s voice clear n crisp,, while Charice voice has that perfect tone,full low and sharp low registers…but my vote goes to SUNSHINE CORAZON–

I saw several videos of Lea singing live… not great. Most of her singing were not delivered flawlessly and she’s struggling on the high notes.

Her voice is better to listen to when it’s recorded (auto tuned?) but live? It makes me cringe.

Brilliant RYAN MURPHY !

Creating conflict between Charice and Lea is a master stroke of a storyline! Either way , Ryan and Glee wins !

Lea, the Broadway star ! Can we ask for more ?

Charice , the ASIAN phenom with a potential to bring on line a new audience of 2 billion plus for GLEE . This side of the world has been waiting for thier superstar for a long time .

the problem with Charice she just mimics others singers.

Lea acts circles figuratively and literally around Chairce and hold her own in the singing dept.

@birhgt can you name me any singer now a days that can mimics any singer either equals or better than the originals. As what David Poster said Charice has this talent that she can mimic other singers and even able copying the chipmunks voice not every can do that. If everybody can mimic anybody then Charice will not be known.

Both are good. I adore them.

The poll is only unbalance. Lea has almost two years leading Glee and garnering awards in singing and acting. She is great.

Charice is a beginner and has a total exposure on TV Glee of about 10 minutes for the past one year and a half. A very new Asian addition .

Charice too is splendid and worth the wait.

Bravo GLEE !

While there is some competition between Lea an Charice in singing and people will have different preferences. IN acting Lea is head and shoulders above Charice. So since this is a tv show than Lea is the acting/singer diva.

amen. Lea michele is by far the most talented of the cast and is a triple threat. Charice, as amazing she is as a singer, does not resemble even a small portion of acting ability. Let’s face it.
