'Teen Mom 2' Star Leah Messer's Baby Ali: An Update On Her Health!

Ali is coping so well with her eye and leg disabilities—she’s even standing on her own!

Teen Mom 2‘s Leah Messer, 18, and her new husband, Corey Simms, 20, are going through a tough time in their relationship, but there is one bright spot in their lives: Baby Aliannah is adapting well to her new eyeglasses and leg braces! 16-month-old Ali, who was born with eye, leg and arm disabilities, is making amazing progress since we last saw her visit the doctor!

“Aliannah has made so much progress since doctors told Leah they thought she might never walk,” a family source tells OK! this week. “She wears the braces as if they’re just part of her—and now she can stand on her own. Plus, her eyes don’t even look crossed now.” That’s such great news!

And dealing with Ali’s health issues took such an emotional toll on poor Leah, but the family friend confides that things are looking up, saying, “Leah is relaxed now that she’s seeing improvement in Aliannah every day.”

Nice zit on that obese babies arm.

As of now ali is in a little wheelchair.The leg braces were not so successful.She can hold her self up but due to the fact that her feet are so bowed and heavily clubbed she still cannot bear weight on her legs.She was also diagnoised with thyroid issues causing a m=heavy weightgain and rumors of Dwarfism.I live in wv and she is in a little pink wheelchair or stroller.

Ali cannot walk and is in a scooter.Get your acts straight.

This is False.Ali was diagnoised with a form of Dwarfism and a thyroid disorder and still can’t walk.It is not clear if she will be able to or not in the future,but as of now she is not walking.

That’s great to hear. That baby also looks so cute in her little glasses. It’s also good (from what we see on tv) she doesn’t seem to pull at them, she didn’t look to fight when they were put on her.
