Sonja v. Alex — after what happened on the April 14 episode of ‘The Real Housewives of New York City,’ whose side are you on?

Has The Real Housewives of New York City blonde alliance fallen apart? On the April 14 episode, Sonja Morgan created some major drama when she made a charity event all about her. And that didn’t settle well with her co-star Alex McCord — especially when Sonja wouldn’t let Alex’s husband Simon van Kempen speak at the event.

But the cat fight peaked when Alex arrived at Sonja’s house for a party. They girls got into a heated argument over what happened at the marriage equality walk. Sonja got so fired up that she kicked Alex out of her house. Now, both women share their feelings of what happened with HollywoodLife.com exclusively!

Sonja’s side:

“I will always be there for Alex,” Sonja tells us. “I threw her out like a good friend would — because she as going to embarrass herself.”

Sonja wasn’t happy with how Alex and Simon conducted themselves at the event. “They tried to shimmy their way into this event,” she explains. “Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Ramona Singer didn’t try. Jill Zarin — we could hardly get her to come. It was about them trying to shimmy in.”

“Alex, from Ramona’s rooftop party to the wedding in the Hamptons, had her knickers in a twist about this thing,” she says. “I don’t know why she made it all about me. It was just my day to speak. I felt special. In my world, it was my day. Obviously when you go to a charity, it’s not about you — everybody knows that.”

Alex’s side:

“One person should never try to overshadow a cause,” Alex says. “What went down between Sonja and myself was crazy. I still can’t even wrap my head around it. It was not a day about me or her or Simon — or anything by marriage equality.”

Alex had tried to put what happened behind her, but it was brought up again at Sonja’s party. “I really didn’t expect to walk into her house and have her put it out right there,” Alex explains. “There was a moment, I thought let’s move on. But that’s not what happened. I felt she was going after Simon, I saw red.”

But now with the drama over and the women are done filming, are they past the big moment?

“This is certainly a big hurdle,” Alex admits. “Where we’re at, something has to happen.”

No,Alex simply wanted to say what she was upset over at the march, but Sonja literally wouldn’t hear a word about it.What’s crazy about wanting to say something? Sonja didn’t allow her to finish one sentence.Because she was wrong and knew it. That woman is horrible, and Alex gets all the blame for trying to put justice out to the table.

Sonja acted like a total douche bag at the event and made it all about her and not about the cause she was supposedly supporting. It’s also ridiculous how the other ladies are supposedly so high class but they never let Alex forget that she lives in Brooklyn and isn’t one of them. LuAnn is the worst offender in acting like she’s so above everyone – that’s not classy at all in spite of her constant claims that she’s the queen of manners.

Sonja just wanted to clear the air because based on Alex’s past behavior, more likely then not, she was going to go crazy in the middle of the party and confront Sonja. Sonja started out ok, but as soon as she began to criticize Simon’s behavior, she should have known that was going to bring out the beast. Alex let out uncontrolled rage, attacking in a manic frenzy, completely oblivious of all the guests looking on in shock. She then justifies this behavior by twisting events and coming up with a distorted perception of herself and the events at hand. Indicating she found her voice. She’s really found her inner spoiled child.

So true! Alex is out of her element. She was much more tolerable in season one when she kept everything inside. Now she is just an annoying, righteous bitch. She is always passing judgement, relentless and inappropriate. No one wants to be around that.

I Hate Alex. Alex has shown her crazy true colors.
If the gay marriage event was the main priority why did Alex go after Jill at first sight. Alex didn’t seem to care that Jill filled one more spot to better the cause.
Jill did a great job ignoring Alex’s craziness.
Bless the Countess Luane for speaking the truth that “Alex is out of her element.Once your at the top of the social ladder you have to be comfortable with yourself”. Alex is truly not confident in her own skin.
Alex if the founders of the Gay marriage event wanted you and your husband to speak and you were on the committee why would the NEWEST housewife Sonja trump Simon or yourself the more senior castmates. Apparently organizers didn’t see the value in Simon or yourself.
Alex you are so pathetic normally, this incident took it to a whole new level.

THE FIRST COMMENT ABOVE IS WHAT THE WORLD KNOWS TO BE A FACT – IF YOU HAVE A BRAIN THEN YOU WILL OVIOUSLY SEE WHO WAS AT FAULT HERE. SONJA IS A FAKE AND WANNABE AND IT’S REALLY HARD FOR HER TO COVER HER TRUE COLORS. ON THE OTHER HAND – ALEX IS NOT TRYING TO BE ANYONE BUT HERSELF. SO IN THE END, THE 2 FALSE COMMENTS ABOVE MUST BE COMING FROM SONJA AND HER TEAM…. SORRY SONJA YOU ARE THE BIGGEST JOKE AND YOU EMBARRASE YOURSELF EVERYTIME YOU ARE ON CAMERA
