You’ll never want to sip on anything else once you try this unique mixed drink!

The beautifully lit, minimalist interior of The Kitchen NYC is a great place to hold any event — I completely forgot I was only seconds away from crowded and noisy Grand Central Station. Chef Jet Tila of the famous Las Vegas Wazuzu restaurant churned out mouthwatering asian dishes all night ranging from sushi to thai, but the most standout dish by far was the salmon sashimi. But enough about the food — you’ve got to try this deliciously different mojito!I have to preface by saying that I am not a fan of sweet drinks. I always try them anyway, but have never found one that I can tolerate having more than one of. That’s why I was shocked to find that I loved this particular mixed drink made of TY KU’s  award-winning sake. They ditched the traditional rum mojito and came up with a creative new recipe that will be a go-to for your next get together.

The light sweetness in the floral flavored sake blends great with the mint and doesn’t make you feel like you’re drinking an spiked Capri Sun. Mine even had a cucumber garnish!

Asian Mojito:

  • 2 oz TY KU Sake Silver
  • Fresh Mint
  • Squeeze of Lemong/Lime/Orange
  • Hard Shake with Ice

The best part of TY KU sake is that it’s smooth enough to mix it up or drink it like a glass of wine. I have a new party-pleasing drink and the event was a huge success — and for a good cause!
