Rihanna who? Beyoncé is ready to reclaim her throne as pop queen — do YOU think she’ll do it?
Beyoncé is furiously at work on her fourth album, and if these 18 leaked seconds of her next single are any indication, it’s going to be epic! The 29-year-old superstar has teamed up with up and coming DJ and producer Diplo to create a new pop-electro sound we love.
The track, which is reportedly going to be titled “Girl” or “Girls (Who Run the World),” samples Major Lazer‘s hit song, “Pon de Floor.” (Not so coincidentally, Diplo is actually one half of Major Lazer…)
Earlier this week, photos leaked of Beyoncé working on the music video in the Mojave Dessert in California, for which she reportedly hired 200 African dancers. Clearly, B’s old motto — “Go big or go home” — is in full force here.
Are YOU excited to hear her new music? How do you feel about her collaboration with Diplo? Sound off below!

jjen – the full song is not ‘pon de flor’ only parts of it, I guess u cud call it the chorus/ bridge?! the rest has an upbeat dance vibe about it, completely different melody than diplo’s! :)
