Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt's Romantic LA Date Night! Exclusive!

Angie and Brad sneak in some alone time and leave the kids at home to catch the opening of ‘God of Carnage’ in LA!

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have busy schedules these days as he films his newest picture, Coogan’s Way, and she finishes up post-production on her directorial debut, but the two still managed to sneak out for a romantic date night in LA! Angie and Brad went to the opening night of God of Carnage April 13, the popular Broadway play making its debut in LA.

“Angie and Brad came in support of their friends who are involved with the show,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “They didn’t want to steal any of the spotlight from the cast — so they were trying to stay low. They were just their to see good theater and show their support.”

The insider adds, “They went backstage and saw the cast (who includes Jeff Daniels, Hope David, Marcia Gay Harden and James Gandolfini) before and after the show.”

God of Carnage deals with a incident among the young children of two parents, something Brad and Angie will inevitably have to deal with at some point with their brood of six!

Brad wrapped his part in Cogan’s Trade 2 weeks ago, he only worked 3 weeks in that film. Cogan’s Trade wraps tomorrow. Brad has been back in LA for 2 weeks with his family, working on MB details and prepping for WWZ. Angelina has been editing her film she directed with some of the actors flying into LA. Brad is probably keeping the CT look for any needed reshoots or maybe because he likes it. People at the play last night said they were happy and enjoyed themselves.
