The highest scoring dancer landed in the bottom two on ‘Dancing with the Stars!’ Is Chelsea Kane not connecting with America?
I had my money on Kendra Wilkinson getting the boot from Dancing with the Stars April 12, so imagine my surprise when Disney starlet (and high scorer) Chelsea Kane and the endearing legend Sugar Ray Leonard landed in the bottom two!
Although he was never my favorite, Sugar Ray grew on me with his big smile and twinkly eyes. I thought for sure his fans would keep him around, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case and he was eliminated from the competition. Then, not only was Kendra — the lowest scoring dancer of the week — totally safe, but Chelsea was the one at the risk of being sent home! Blasphemy!
Chelsea — who’s best known for her role on the Jonas Brothers’ show on Disney Channel — was the leader of the scoreboard the night before, but I don’t think enough people know (or care) who she is to pick up the phone to vote and keep her around. Although she’s one of my personal favorites, I think there’s something about her that’s not resonating with the audience…and I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is. Nevertheless, something’s going to have to change if she wants to stay around another week — and perfecting her moves isn’t the answer.
Were you surprised with the results tonight? Who do you think is in it to win it? Sound off below!
