The ‘Twilight’ heartthrob seems to have a soft spot for our fury little friends!
Robert Pattinson may play a fearless vampire in the Twilight series, but there is one thing that seems to being him to tears — animals! Rob spoke with Seventeen (Latin America) and said about what makes him cry: “I cried the last day that Tai [the elephant] was on the set of Water For Elephants, and during the film, March Of The Penguins.” A hottie with a heart? Awwwww!
Rob goes on to say in the interview: “I think I have more affinity with animals than with people. For many reasons, I prefer working with animals and children than with actors. Often when you’re working with actors, it becomes something almost competitive.”
It seems like Rob is DEFINITELY an animal lover! That sure is one lucky dog he adopted!

It is not at all “stupid,” on the contrary, I understand completely what Rob meant. Animals are amazing, loving, intuitive creatures and a lot of people relate better to animals than to people. And to have the chance to bond with such a beautiful intelligent elephant would be amazing.
