Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Reportedly Want To Remake 'The Wizard Of Oz!'

Would YOU like to see Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber co-star in a remake of the legendary musical?

Selena Gomez reportedly wants to follow the yellow brick road alongside boyfriend, Justin Bieber, and remake The Wizard of Oz — and we’re totally on board!

“Selena has loved the Wizard of Oz since she was a kid and she’s still obsessed with it,” a source told Showbiz Spy. “Her dream role would be Dorothy in a remake but she’d settle for a Munchkin just to be in it. Now she’s got Justin hooked on the movie, Selena thinks they may both be contenders for a role.”

HollywoodLife.com contacted both Justin and Selena’s reps, but haven’t heard back with confirmation.

However, with her Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place coming to an end, it seems it would be simple for Selena, 18, to go from one wizard to another. Plus, the petite brunette beauty would make an excellent wide-eyed and innocent Dorothy.

Meanwhile, we can also picture Justin, 17, tapping into his dance abilities to play the scarecrow — especially if he grows a few more inches.

i don’t see Selena as Dorothy. NO I AM NOT A SELENA HATER! I’m just saying. Plus, I don’t think I would watch it.. I love them both but no. I dislike when they make re-makes of classic movies, because most of the time not all the time they aren’t as good as the original…

if this is true (i dont believe these sites ALL the time) than it’s an amazing idea. so cute, because selena’s a wonderful actress and singer and beautiful for dorothy role,. plus it would be cool to see justin acting!! i love him!! <3

I don’t think they will do it…I might be just Selena and Justin throwing out ideas for fun (or just day dreaming, we all do it)…I mean this is a “gossip” website….how reliable is it.

Obviously if Selena had to sing in The Wizards of Oz she would be dubbed. Which would be a good thing. You know that voice we hear of her’s on her cd? I think this is an amazing idea!!! Everyone would go to see it! And I loved The Wizards of Oz also when I was little. I was obsessed with Dorothy and the ruby slippers! Anyway, about her acting. I don’t think she’s that great as in dramatic and real. Disney actors today are more cheese than real. The original Dorothy was amazing, not too dramatic but very very believable. I don’t think Selena is that great of actress. She’s very average so far and I never had that feeling from her thinking “wow, you are so real”.

i think its stupied that if they make a “re-make” of the wizard of oz and anyways i dont think all of his “fans” would like it though but in my honest opinion i dont think they should re-make it.
