“Baby Ben rocked John and Kelly’s world and they’ve never been happier,” a longtime family friend told The National Enquirer. “Neither one can keep their hands off the baby. They’re mesmerized by his every coo and gurgle.”
But because of Benajmin’s high-risk pregnancy — due to Kelly’s age — the parents are thinking about other ways they could go about welcoming another baby into their brood.
“Because her pregnancy with Ben was so challenging, Kelly said this time she’d consider a surrogate or even adoption,” revealed the source. “Kelly and John both realize that family is all that’s really important.”
After losing their 16-year-old son Jett in January 2009, Kelly and John’s children, 10-year-old daughter Ella and 5-month-old Benjamin are their primary joy in life. So why not add one more?
“The only thing that would make them happier is to share their love with one more baby,” added the insider. “John is crazy about the idea and told Kelly they should make the project their No. 1 priority.”
