Poor Vienna Girardi is a new victim of the orange spray tan! Check out our tips to stay out of the ‘Oompa Loompa’ crew!

The Bachelor‘s Vienna Girardi, 24, doesn’t look like much of a catch in that outrageous hue! From girls like Snooki to Lindsay Lohan, we’ve all seen that icky orange glow!

Here are some tanning tips and tricks to avoid this beauty blunder:

Start with a trial run: When trying a new self-tanner, test it on one area and see what it turns out in a few days before applying on the rest of your body.

Avoid “bronze infusing” lotions: If you’re using a tanning bed, stay away from the “bronzing lotions” and go for a heavy-duty sunscreen for a more natural look.

Be patient! Most of these tanning problems occur because we over-tan too quickly. It takes a little over a day to see results, and even if you don’t see them that soon, wait a few more days and for your skin to take on a darker color.

Remember: Your face and body tan differently. You should only tan your face half as much as the rest of your body — stay sun safe with a good sunblock and just brush on some bronzer if you’re looking for that beachy glow!
