Opening up for the first time about her divorce from Tony Parker, Eva Longoria broke down crying and said the split was ‘heartbreaking,’ but she won’t say anything negative about him. Talk about class!

If someone cheated on us — like Tony Parker reportedly did to Eva Longoria – you can bet we’d want to set the record straight. However, the 36-year-old Desperate Housewives actress is a better person than we are and told Piers Morgan April 7 she’ll never publicly reveal the private details behind the split.

“You know, he’s not a bad person, he just wanted something else. I don’t hate him for it, I really don’t,” she said. “I would never speak publicly about what happened or why we got divorced because I love him and we still talk, we are still in each other’s lives.”

Even though she handled the interview diplomatically, Eva got emotional when she started talking about the divorce, which was finalized in January.

“It was heartbreaking,” she said. “I think it was disappointing because I had such an identity in being Mrs. Parker and being a wife, and when that’s taken away from you, you go ‘Who am I?'”

As disappointing as it must have been for Eva to end her seven-year-long relationship, she seems to have moved on with someone equally as attractive as her ex — Penelope Cruz‘s 25-year-old brother, Eduardo Cruz.
