Dodging payments? Heading back to court? What a great example Kate is setting for her kids.

Kate Gosselin tried to fix her broken marriage with Jon back in 2009 — and now she’s paying for it! The Dancing with the Stars champ, 36, is being sued by Dr. Sylvia Lafair, Jon’s life coach, for more than $10,000 by Creative Energy Options, a Pennsylvania-based mediation group, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

The official document reads as follows: “Unpaid balance due for services 2/4/09 to 3/23/09. Client requested Dr. Sylvia Lafair fly to Los Angeles, California, to perform marriage counseling, then refused to pay for travel fees.”

We told you in the past that Jon took his children to Dr. Lafair’s The Country Place Retreat in White Haven, PA for Father’s Day — the same place where he sought personal and relationship guidance.

Dr. Lafair confirms to RadarOnline.com that the suit was, in fact, filed.

The actual complain against was Kate was filed before Judge Gerald Feissner on March 28 at Freeland District Court in Pennsylvania for a total of $10,476.

We wonder if Kate will discuss her new legal troubles on national TV — you  know, once she’s done bashing Jon.

Do you think Jon has anything to do with this?
