Are 'American Idol' Finalists Paul & Lauren Secretly Dating 'Twilight' Stars?

We don’t know if we can handle two of our biggest obsessions coming together like this!

If you thought Haley Reinhart and Casey Abrams‘ American Idol romance was hot, wait till you hear who fellow contestants Paul McDonald and Lauren Alaina, 16, have reportedly been chatting with! Paul, 26, has now had several Skype dates with Twilight star Nikki Reed, 22, according to Us Weekly, while Lauren has been doing the same with Taylor Lautner!

We guess that explains the heart shape Lauren made with her hands on the March 30 episode of Idol. (Was that a message to Taylor?)

Im sorry to say Team Mclaina but Scotty and Lauren are not dating. Just because she said he was cute doesnt mean anything…if you watch the interviews about their little kiss on American Idol, Scotty says that he is for sure and officially single and that him and Lauren are only friends.

Wow Jacobsmom pretty harsh comments for someone you know nothing about. You have never met Lauren, you just see her on TV and make your judgements. People need to mind their own business and stop hating on others. I think she seems like a very bright, very beautiful young girl. Shame on you for insinuating she is anything less. Maybe you are jealous because Taylor Lautner doesn’t even know you exist, but that isn’t Laurens fault so back off.
Lauren if you are reading this I think you are doing wonderful, and I am voting for you, well you and Scotty. Please don’t let the negative thoughts, comments, or even actions of people like jacobsmom get you down. Keep your head held high, you know the truth and so do your family and friends and in the end that is all that matters. Some people are jealous of others and will do anything to try to bring them down. Don’t let them.

I would hope Taylor Lautner would want someone better than a 16 yr. old big butt brat!!! He is a great actor and she is a very immature little girl who wants to open her legs to anybody! I would almost bet she has suck Steven Tyler off and she tries way to hard to be sexy for a young girl her age.
So if Mr. Lautner would be interested in her I would be shocked and probably slit my wrist in dissappointment!!

This is such inappropriate behaviour and language. I think perhaps you may be the immature one. You say in one sentence that Lauren is too young (for Taylor) and yet you speak in such a disgusting bullying manner about her.

He hasn’t gone on the record said they were dating, or exclusive. Wouldn’t be the first a guy to have an “official” girlfriend and a sidepiece. Lily better watch her back. He better declare Lily on that MTV show next week.

And he could be spending lots of cyber time with this girl!As for cheating, Lautner and Collins hooked up on the set of Abduction while they were dating others. The term “Skype dates” (accent on dates) doesn’t look good. Given their history I can’t imagine this is not bothering Lily a teensy bit. Lautner better clear this up.
