Christina is on her best behavior and “very excited” to prove herself with her new job as a judge on The Voice, says a source.

Christina Aguilera had a string of bad luck: she messed up the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, tripped at the Grammys, passed out in Jeremy Renner‘s bed, and was arrested for public intoxication. Her downward spiral made headlines and now the singer is doing her absolute best to prove to the wold she’s back on her feet. “Christina is very excited for her new job as a judge on ‘The Voice'”, reveals a close friend of the singer’s. “She’s ready to get back into the swing of things and make all the haters eat their words.”

“After the arrest and the bad press she has got lately, she is making sure she looks her best, acts her best and is ready for her gig on ‘The Voice’,” says our source. “She is a professional that is going to prove to the world that she is here to stay.”

Christina says she can now “laugh about my own hiccups” because she is “getting through it.” Our insider agrees that these were just misfortunes and says “She is getting better but it was never as bad as everybody thought. The troubles with the Super Bowl and the arrest and everything else going wrong in her life, those are all temporary. Her work on ‘The Voice’ has really turned a new leaf.”

Christina has been spotted taking a chauffeur after nights out on the town, so she’s obviously trying hard to set a good example for her fans and rectify her reputation. We are so glad to hear Christina is doing so well and it will be exciting to see her on the new show!
