And here’s why: Angie look-alike Bella thinks Brad is ‘hot’ — and wants to have a steamy sex scene with Angie’s man.

Could Angelina Jolie, 35 be running heavy interference to prevent Brad Pitt, 47 from hooking up with a younger version of herself on the set of his new movie Cogan’s Trade in New Orleans? A new report in Star magazine says Angie has “dropped everything” to keep Bella Heathcote and Brad from developing any on- and off-screen chemistry.

“She’s desperate to keep him away from Bella,” says an “insider” to Star. “Angie knows Brad could easily fall for her because she’s fresh meat. It doesn’t really help that Angie’s been feeling so insecure about her age and looks lately.”

Bella, 22, recently told the Herald-Sun just how sexy she finds Brad. Referring to Brad’s very naked sex scene with Rose Byrne in 2004′s Troy,  ”I wish I was in a similar scene … with Brad, that was hot,” Bella blabbed. ”Listen to me calling him Brad by his first name already.”

Don’t forget Brad’s history of on-set hookups: He met Angie on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004,  Juliette Lewis on the set of 1990′s Too Young to Die, and Gwyneth Paltrow during the shooting of 1995′s Se7en.
