Charlie didn’t seem to be winning as his fans turned on him in Detroit!
Charlie Sheen sold out several shows on his recently-announced Charlie Sheen LIVE: My Violent Torpedo of Truth tour, but the April 2 kickoff in Detroit found a combative audience booing Sheen during his rambling, nonsensical monologues!
Charlie, 45, stunned the audience as he stood at a podium and launched into a series of stories and ideas so insane that at one point he said, “Is anybody as confused by this s–-t as I am? The good news is, I wrote every f–king word,” People reports.
Charlie was greeted by many audience members walking out and a chorus of boos. He soon got combative, saying, “Tell the guy next to you booing to shut the f–-k up because he’s ruining it for the rest of you.”
Perhaps the audience was angry because between ramblings and video clips, Charlie openly insulted Detroit and its people, asking questions such as, “Show of hands – who here has tried crack? Forget that. Who is holding crack right now? I don’t do crack anymore, but I’m just saying.”
He then tried to justfy the performance, saying, “Tonight is an experiment — You paid your hard-earned money without knowing what this show was about.”
It sounds like Charlie should just head back to Two and a Half Men — at least he’d get some laughs!
