It’s no joke! The Lemon Drop cupcakes at Cappellino’s Crazy Cakes in Charlottesville, VA have unexplained secret pregnancy powers!
This is so incredible! Nineteen pregnant moms, who were all past their due dates, had one of Dotty and Frank Cappellino‘s Lemon Drop cupcakes and BAM! Their babies decided it was time to arrive!
The mom who “discovered” this cupcake miracle was Lori Lawson, who was days overdue with her son Ethan when she stopped in Cappellino’s Crazy Cakes in Charlottesville, VA to grab a sweet treat. Obviously, she chose the Lemon Drop cupcake with lemon buttercream.
“Within half an hour, I started having contractions,” Lori tells 4029 News. And the same happened for other moms, who heard about the magic cupcake from their local obsetricians who were confident in the baked good’s powers.
The owner of Cappellino’s Dotty says the only ingredient that is different in this certain cupcake is “fresh lemon juice and zest.” And although no one can determine what the cause of the contractions may be, the proof is in the numbers!
How amazing is this? If you’re overdue, head out for a road trip to Cappellino’s!

This makes me laugh! The women were OVERDUE. My reason believing its NOT the cupcake is because of the number of people who have had one and NOTHING happened. Where are those numbers? I know 5 plus people myself who would fit into that catagory. These 19 people were just lucky!
