Dr. Drew draws a direct link between Britney’s dance moves and the treatment she’s receiving, allegedly for bipolar disorder.
If you watched Britney Spears‘ recent performance on Good Morning America and thought, “Gee, I miss when she actually danced,” you weren’t alone! Many die-hard Britney fans were left disappointed and confused by her ‘wooden’ appearance — but thankfully we have brilliant minds like Dr. Drew Pinsky to make sense of it all. The good doc appeared March 31 on HLN to give us the lowdown on Britney’s condition.
“[Britney] has chronic psychiatric disorders that are going to need management probably her entire life, including probably medication,” Dr. Drew professed. “The medication typically used for [her alleged bipolar disorder] can make people look a little robotic and stiffer. That doesn’t mean they’re not stable.”
He said that, while she will need to be treated carefully for the rest of her life, the fans don’t need to worry about her losing her ability to perform. “It doesn’t mean [Britney] shouldn’t be working,” he said.
Good to know, doc!

Oh please give me a break about yet another privileged white star who is clinging to the “Bipolar or I need Treatment” excuse? Can we send Britney & others like her to the Middle East, South America or Africa where REAL women who have real PROBLEMS get up everyday work, walk miles a day to feed their kids & family WITHOUT MEDICATION & PITY. They do it very well & everyday. Britney is lazy & doesn’t want to sing! She’s made millions lip-synching & she is not going to give it up as long as society keeps petting her.
