Happy Birthday, Ewan McGregor! You're 40 Today, March 31!

The actor and dad of three girls is celebrating a milestone birthday today — the big 4-0!

Ewan McGregor stole our hearts in films like Moulin Rouge and Big Fish, and this year he’s coming out with four more movies that will do the same. The Scottish actor, who you might recognize as the young Obi-Wan Kenobi in the newer Star Wars films, is sure to impress us with his stellar talent.

Ewan, who is married to French production designer Eve Mavrakis, has three daughters, two biological Clara, 15, and Esther, 9, and one adopted, Jamiyan, 9. He refuses to talk about his family in interviews because he believes his personal life should be “private.” Which we totally appreciate!
