Demi Lovato's Taped Revealing Interview With GMA – First Since Treatment! Will She Tell-All?

We’re so proud of Demi Lovato! She’s turning a potentially tough emotional situation into an inspirational experience. You can see her on GMA and 20/20 in about a week and a half.

When Demi Lovato checked into treatment for “emotional and physical issues” last November, we thought we were witnessing the demise of another Disney starlet. However, the 18-year-old triple threat performer is doing better than ever — she’s even back in the studio and is in New York City! As well as her GMA  interview with host Robin Roberts , Demi stopped by the editorial offices of Seventeen magazine – bet she’s shooting an upcoming cover.

“Good mooorrrrnning NYC! I have a really big day today.. Very excited.. But first – going on a run! :)” Demi, who lives in Los Angeles, tweeted March 31, before heading to GMA

Later she took time to inspire her fans, writing, “Wow… What an amazing and life changing morning… I feel blessed and thankful beyond words.. #allforyouguys”.

TV host and personality Robin Roberts tweeted later that day she spent time in the studio with Demi, taping interviews for Good Morning America and 20/20.

“Enjoyed spending time with @ddlovato today after GMA. Moved by her honesty. Intvw will air later and will help many,” she wrote, adding, “Demi’s intvw will air on @GMA and 20/20 in couple of weeks. Will let u know. She truly touched me today. Very open, wonderful.”

Robin responded to Demi’s fans, assuring them the starlet is better than ever. “She looks great and is v happy. Appreciates all the support from her fans,” she wrote.

Demi  was thrilled with how Robin handled the interview, and tweeted  @RobinRoberts thank you SO much for helping me tell my story today. Today was really special for me.. Thank you.. God bless! Followed by this tweet

Everyone follow @RobinRoberts such a genuine and talented STRONG woman.. Someone I definitely admire and look up to!

We can’t wait to hear Demi tell her side of the story for the first time and love she’s back on the media circuit. Don’t you want to hear a new single as soon as possible?

On a side note, we’re prepping for the Kids’ Choice Awards this Saturday and stumbled upon our video from the orange carpet at last year’s show. Watch Demi and Joe Jonas during their Honeymoon period…they were so cute!

Have you ever heard of Michael Phelps? He got arrested for DUI and underage drinking in 2004, shortly after the Athens Olympics. Then shortly after the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the tabloid reporters caught him smoking marijuana with his friends, as a result he received a 3-month suspension in any swimming competition. Now he is back on track and he’s preparing for the 2012 Olympics in London.

Now why are we hearing Mary Lou Retton on this site. Of course she’s a good role model. She retired after winning the gold medal in the 1984 Olympics. I heard that Mary Lou was suffering a hip dysplasia since she was a child, and that’s why she retired after the Olympics. You don’t often see her in the public eye, that’s why. We only hear her name mentioned every time the Olympics are around.

She’s a role model for doing the right thing. Has she made mistakes? Yeah, you bet. Has she tried to change things and confront them? Yes she has. What’s wrong with that? Making mistakes isn’t an issue, it’s how you DEAL with them that’s the issue! Teaching kids today that making mistakes is OK is the way we need to go, and then teaching them how to learn from them. Not hide from them.
Can’t wait to see what she says. She doesn’t have to address any rumours she doesn’t want to. It’s still her private life, celeb or not.
If you believe EVERY rumour without proof then that’s silly.
Whatever she has or hasn’t done why can’t she be given a second chance? She made a mistake with Shorty but we don’t know the whole story with that. And probably never will. :/

As a fan (an older fan I might add), I want her to succeed and people to see her as ‘more than a Disney star’ She has the talent to be so big. :)

1984 Olympic gold medalist Mary Lou Retton is still the perfect role model in the world!

i hope she talks about punching a girl and allegedly doing all that coke and sleeping around im sure shes a nice person but her fans jump to her defense in times of crisis and its not fair to people who genuinely don’t do anything wrong peoples idolatry views towards her i can’t understand

Don’t do anything wrong? So the dancer suing a friend while in rehab is not wrong morally? Or using demis fame for her own fifteen minutes is not morally wrong? What Bout tryinto sue for plastic surgery when she got a black eye? What about the people who tried to make up lies about demo when she was in rehab? It boggles my mind to see idiots preach about idolotry when you practice a form of filth which is ten times as worse than any sort of thing. Baseless accusations. People like you are disgraceful.

Aso why wouldn’t her fans or any fan of anyone jump to her defense in a time of crisis? These are people who want her to succeed in life. It has nothing to do with her mistakes but helping her overcome them. And everyone deserves to overcome adversity.

i heard the exact same things about her…wonder if she will mention that or just sugar coat everything..i would respect her if she tells the truth, but the truth will hurt her career, so i doubt we will hear the truth.
