We’re so proud of Demi Lovato! She’s turning a potentially tough emotional situation into an inspirational experience. You can see her on GMA and 20/20 in about a week and a half.
When Demi Lovato checked into treatment for “emotional and physical issues” last November, we thought we were witnessing the demise of another Disney starlet. However, the 18-year-old triple threat performer is doing better than ever — she’s even back in the studio and is in New York City! As well as her GMA interview with host Robin Roberts , Demi stopped by the editorial offices of Seventeen magazine – bet she’s shooting an upcoming cover.
“Good mooorrrrnning NYC! I have a really big day today.. Very excited.. But first – going on a run! :)” Demi, who lives in Los Angeles, tweeted March 31, before heading to GMA
Later she took time to inspire her fans, writing, “Wow… What an amazing and life changing morning… I feel blessed and thankful beyond words.. #allforyouguys”.
TV host and personality Robin Roberts tweeted later that day she spent time in the studio with Demi, taping interviews for Good Morning America and 20/20.
“Enjoyed spending time with @ddlovato today after GMA. Moved by her honesty. Intvw will air later and will help many,” she wrote, adding, “Demi’s intvw will air on @GMA and 20/20 in couple of weeks. Will let u know. She truly touched me today. Very open, wonderful.”
Robin responded to Demi’s fans, assuring them the starlet is better than ever. “She looks great and is v happy. Appreciates all the support from her fans,” she wrote.
Demi was thrilled with how Robin handled the interview, and tweeted @RobinRoberts thank you SO much for helping me tell my story today. Today was really special for me.. Thank you.. God bless! Followed by this tweet
Everyone follow @RobinRoberts such a genuine and talented STRONG woman.. Someone I definitely admire and look up to!
We can’t wait to hear Demi tell her side of the story for the first time and love she’s back on the media circuit. Don’t you want to hear a new single as soon as possible?
On a side note, we’re prepping for the Kids’ Choice Awards this Saturday and stumbled upon our video from the orange carpet at last year’s show. Watch Demi and Joe Jonas during their Honeymoon period…they were so cute!

Have you ever heard of Michael Phelps? He got arrested for DUI and underage drinking in 2004, shortly after the Athens Olympics. Then shortly after the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the tabloid reporters caught him smoking marijuana with his friends, as a result he received a 3-month suspension in any swimming competition. Now he is back on track and he’s preparing for the 2012 Olympics in London.
Now why are we hearing Mary Lou Retton on this site. Of course she’s a good role model. She retired after winning the gold medal in the 1984 Olympics. I heard that Mary Lou was suffering a hip dysplasia since she was a child, and that’s why she retired after the Olympics. You don’t often see her in the public eye, that’s why. We only hear her name mentioned every time the Olympics are around.
