Miley Cyrus Disses Rebecca Black & Bieber — YouTube Doesn't Make You A Star!

Miley appears to be no fan of the YouTube sensation — is she afraid of the competition?

Miley Cyrus seems to be having some trouble dealing with her decreased popularity following the end of Hannah Montana, and taking it out on Rebecca Black! Miley spoke with the Daily Telegraph and said of the young singing sensation, “It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour.” Ouch!

Miley seems to forget however that there is one major star who got his big break of YouTube — Justin Bieber! Justin’s videos were what first caught the attention of record labels, and there seem to be more and more young stars just like him these days!

What do you think of Miley’s statement HollywoodLifers — is she right or just being bitter?

Charice rules. That girl can sing anything. With her deep soprano voice, she can slam the song with ease. Power ballad’s just a killer song. OMG, her take on “ALL my myself’” . . . insane. Never heard anything like that before. Watch out for that.

(sry miley) i think it is great that people like rebecca black and jb make their own destiny. they got in of purely talent. and she shouldn’t just be famous cuz dadddyyy made it happen – i don’t think she would have made it if she wouldn’t been born into fame – she might have used YouTube herself if she was just a regular girl with a dream

Shes just jealous.
Just because she isnt wanted by any body anymore.
Shes getting older so i dont see why she shopuld care about what they do in there lives it has nothing to do with her so she obviosly is jealous.
They’re trying to get ahgead in life and youtubes a good place to start. So Get a grip

Well I think that youtube is a great way for people to start a career and get noticed. Not everyone can have the connections that she had !! She needs to realise that there is more than one way of becoming famous !!

I think she is just craving for attention. All those paparazzi who are following her then, who by the way she snobbed most of the time found new star to follow. Charice was discovered in youtube too, and she is one of the best singers of this generation, if not the best. Her concert tours in asia were definitely all succesful.

you right Miley, you shouldn’t have to be talented and just put up your own videos on YouTube, you should try harder and get your famous daddy to get you a TV show *eye roll* granted i don’t like Justin Bieber and i have no idea who Rebecca Black is, but i’m guessing they made it on their own by making their own videos and posting them. they did try hard, and they did it themselves. i think they actually earned it, unlike SOME people. yea, i’m looking at you Miley…

I disagree. I think the internet is a good way to find talent. I mean, not everyone has a FAMOUS DAD that can get you started… lets be serious if it wasn’t for her dad she would not be famous.

Even though I dislike Miley, I have to agree with her. At least jb has talents, Rebecca black doesn’t seem to have any talent and if she turns out to be big, then this music industry really is screwed big time. Real talents like that Charice girl is what the industry needs.
