Look Out, Chris Brown! 'DWTS' Host Tom Bergeron Says He'll Get In Your Face! Not Cool.

What’s your problem, Tom? Sounds like you’re trying to stir up Chris Brown to create some fireworks on tonight’s ‘Dancing With The Stars’ — what are you thinking?

Tom Bergeron doesn’t want to let the Chris Brown-GMA controversy die. ABC is gleefully promoting Chris’s appearance tonight on Dancing With The Stars — a week after he went on his window-smashing GMA rampage. Chris has apologized and Good Morning America says it would gladly have him back. But that’s not good enough for Tom!

“I did say to the producers that it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him, because my natural tendency would be to say something,” Tom told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show March 28. “So don’t put me in a position where you’re asking me not to say something, because I won’t really do that.” He also joked that ABC might tie him down in a “Hannibal Lecter suit” to keep him from confronting Chris, even in a small way: “just a snarky little aside, you know, ‘How was your week?’”

Come off it, Tom! If Robin Roberts and the GMA team  – the very folks who were in the line of fire — say they’ve gotten past the drama of Chris acting out after he was asked about his 2009 assault on Rihanna, why can’t you?

Chris has said he’s sorry, to his fans and to the show’s staff. He clearly is in need of help to manage his anger. Why do you think confronting him again before millions of TV viewers is in your job description?

What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is Tom just too much? Or is he right to speak his mind?

Like I said before, if people keeps bringing my past up, I’ll get upset too. there’s only so much that one can take. I wasn’t abusive but was in an abusive relationship. Chris did his time, more than any men out there that I’ve known who was abusive. Let him live his life… He’s already suffer enough for his crime cause he can’t get Rihanna back. So let him move on.

All these so called victim of abuse are really naeve to say the least. Chris Brown has not been a threat to anyone niether will he be. His mistakes are behind him however, people are welcome to keep resurrecting it from its grave. Chris Brown is just there to do his thing, not necessarily to bond with any FOOL.

Yes, the crime in the world was their b4 Chris was born & it will remain after he is dead and gone; & NO, Chris will not end crime in the world. He loves his current girlfriend & she loves him too, and their relationship has been really perfect for a long time, YOU GUYS ARE BLIND! The kid can’t be stopped & yes they deserve that trashing on GMA for tricking him to attend a freaking show in my opinion.

Truth is, wether or not he is allowed on that show, his career will be great. what good is a dance show if the best dancer in the world is banned from it?! His presence on the show only validate the show & they need him there not the other way around. Incase you dont know, his album made 1# without a single media support. He already has the highest album sales so far this year!

If GMA is not upset about their property, who are you to be upset? do you even watch the program? look at you advocating for GMA as if those people care, you know they’ve apologised for missleading him and have invited him back, so case closed.

You know, its really none of your business who Chris Brown is. You dont like him, you will not listen or buy his record, so why do you care what he does or who he does it with? Obviously, the media & you wanted him gone, but over 4-5 million people love and want him, so why do you think your opinion will prevail? He doesnt stop you from listening to whatever artist you want to listen to on the radio, so whats really your problem?

There are many problems that need your attention in the society that are more serious than someone that fell out with his GF years ago, why do you bother waste your time? His album is 1# right now, doesnt that tell you something? his album is estimated to hit 300,000 in the 1st week, meaning that 300,000 people dont share your views.

We are aware of what he did, and we were touched however, its way too long for any responsible human being to hold a grudge. Hating Chris Brown, or wishing he was in jail, doesnt change what he did and will not teach anyone a lesson, it will only mean there is no redemtion for sin so its no point repenting cos you will be condemned regardless of any apology you make which will make men hate & despise women more than they already do

Mind your Business and let Chris Brown and his 6-7 million plus fans enjoy their idol. He is not stopping anyone from listening to their favourite artists so why are you people trying to stop us? All your katie perry, rihanna, & the endless list of mediocre talents on radio & TV, are still available for you, so why take away the last remaining talent in the world?

Bravo king makers, bravo!!!!!! Very well said.

There are a lot of two faced people in this world. Colby did wrong, got hand slapped. Every body, Ok. Other public entertainers have cheated, hit and used slurs. Hand slapped. Everybody. Ok. But you won’t let this young man redeme himself. I don’t blam him for being upset. It has been 2yrs. He was sentenced by a judge and has done what the judge ordered. All these folks who want to jump on the band wagon and get in his face or F with this young just to bring headlines to their shows/careers. Need to find a new hobby.

Chris stand tall. Keep your anger in check. Don’t let these haters take you there. And if you have to go there make sure your at home behind your closed doors. Oh and when they want to keep asking you about the past. State you are here to promote your current project and future plans and that is it. Period.

Chris Brown’s album is only doing well because of all of the other artists on it with him…

Those who are victims of abuse never need to forgive!!!! Our fury can last as long as we want it to and we will deal with it in our own time not when others tell us to get over it!

Ohh, Chris said he was sorry so now everyone should move on…I don’t think so. Unfortunatly when your in the public eye, this will follow him forever. He acted like an idiot, whether he said sorry or not. He’s told everyone he is better and learned a lot from Anger Management…What did he learn, that it’s better to smash a window than someone’s face? He hasn’t learned nothing, and he proved that on GMA. He has A LOT of growing up to do. People are going to be testing the limits with him all the time now, and its up to him how he handles it.

People love comebacks, he could have gained a new fan base with this new album but the way he handled that situation with GMA just proved he hasn’t learned anything and that he is still the same ol’ person. NOT GOOD! He could have handled that a million different right ways. But he chose the one WRONG way to do it. It just proves where his state of mind still is.
