Greyson Chance tells HollywoodLife.com he loves Rebecca Black and Lady Gaga before performing at Perez Hilton’s Blue Ball birthday bash! Watch the video!
Rebecca Black has a fan in fellow YouTube star Greyson Chance! Before taking to the stage to perform his single “Waiting Outside the Lines” and a cover of “New York State of Mind” at Perez Hilton‘s Blue Ball birthday party, Greyson revealed to HollywoodLife.com he thinks Rebecca, 13, is incredible.
“She is such a phenomenon and all these views on YouTube,” he gushed. “I think she is a phenomenon.”
However, he held off on committing to a collaboration between him and the new YouTube star. “I don’t know, I’d have to see what happens in the future,” he revealed.
One artist with whom we are sure he wouldn’t mind doing a duet is Lady Gaga. Greyson admires Lady Gaga because genuine as an artist and performer.
“The best thing about her [Lady Gaga] is that she is real, she is not fake. When she comes out on stage in these costumes there is a meaning behind it. You can really feel that meaning as well, she is not fake, she is very real,” he explained. “That is what makes her Lady Gaga.”
As for who Greyson would like to see sing covers of his songs, his top choice is Adele. He wants her to hear her version of “Waiting Outside the Lines.”
When he is not busy performing and admiring other singers, Greyson told us his “normal kid habit” is photography. “I love taking photos and love documenting things that are going on,” he explained.
WIth his entertainment connections and love of photography, could Greyson be a movie director in the future? “I always have ideas for movies, so maybe i’ll be a director one day,” he admitted.
