Robert Pattinson Admits One Of His Biggest Fears…And It's Not Garlic Or Crosses!

Robert Pattinson says he had to go face to face — literally — with one of the things that terrifies him the most…horses!

Robert Pattinson may seem confident and manly, but there IS something that gets him shaking in his boots — and he had to work with that beast while shooting his upcoming film, Water for Elephants.

“I had to get knocked down by a horse. That was terrifying,” the 24-year-old actor told USA Today. “It was just one split second but (it was) a fully grown stallion…I’m kind of relatively scared of horses as well. I’m just glad I didn’t have to ride any of them. I’m not particularly good at horse riding.”

In the film, Rob plays a veterinary student who joins the circus after his parents are killed. Rob’s character, Jacob, falls in love with a girl named Marlena, who is played by Reese Witherspoon. Water for Elephants hits theaters April 22. Are YOU excite d to see Rob get knocked over by a stallion?

Hi everyone, I am not sure how true this article is but as someone who has been around horses for that last 20 years all I can say is that I understand why horses scare some people. They can be big & scary animals. But they are also very misunderstood animals as well. Two of the horses that I had were wonderful, kind & gentle. They loved being around people. I am sure if Rob would have met one of them he would have fell in love. I did have one horse though that I just didn’t click with & when he threw me off on a trail ride I got rid of him. Nenna, I’m sorry about what happened to you. Try not to hold that against other horses.
It’s all about being safe & understanding them. I am working with a horse right now (he belongs to a friend of mine)who has some trust issues so I am being very patient with him. I think in the end he will come around.

As for the movie Water for Elephants, I can’t wait to see it.
