Justin tweets to fans to support the album — even after Chris’ violent outburst!

Chris Brown has kept one high-profile fan after his violent outburst on the March 22 episode of Good Morning America — Justin Bieber!

Justin, 17, has been super-excited about the release of Chris’ new album F.A.M.E., which includes their duet “Next 2 You.” On March 21, the night before the blowout, Justin tweeted, “shoutout to @ChrisBrown who has FAME dropping tomorrow. Album is crazy. We got a record on there with me and him called #NEXT2YOU.”

Chris, 21, had his incident the next morning, and Justin still tweeted support of the album later that evening. Justin said, “WOW!! #NEXT2YOU with @chrisbrown is already #20 on ITUNES!! LEGGO LEGGO LEGGO!!”

Biebs’ support of his friend is appropriate, considering the lyrics the two share in “Next 2 You” are “Nothing will ever come between us / I’ll be standing right next to you.”

Oh geez, what does a kid like JB know. What CB did was horrific and he should be hung from his huevos because he obviously did not learn, change or mature from what he did to Rhianna (sp?). If he were man enough he wouldn’t have reacted the way he did. I can understand him being upset but that’s the consequence you take when you violently attack someone. This kind of thing follows you around for a while and you just have to deal with it. Stupid is as stupid does

I thought there was a story to this, but turns out NOT lol. JB didn’t say “hey Chris, hang in there.” All he said was the album is dropping, which is true. He’s supporting his own collab more than anything.

Hmmmm……lets consider a list of celebrities who have exhibited violent behaviour: John Lennon allegedly beat Cynthia Lennon in their relationship and assaulted a man at a party. Frank Sinatra was known to be frequently violent in his relationships with women. Elvis Presley began having sex with Priscilla when she was 14 years old, which technically classifies him as a pedophile, a sexual form of domestic abuse. Johnny Cash was known to have been physically violent to June Carter. James Brown was known to batter several of his women. And its not just men: Hillary Clinton has been accused by biographers in the past of attacking Bill. Humphrey Bogart’s wife attacked him as well. Liza Minnelli has been accused of attacking David Gest. Mary Todd Lincoln was known to be physically abusive to Abe Lincoln. Christian Slater and his wife have also been known to have violent episodes with one another. Joe Elliott (from Def Leppard) and his wife were both arrested for beating the crap out of each other. Anthony Michael Hall, Tiger Woods, Urkel, Rick Springfield, Kurt Cobain, Courtney Love, Eminem and his wife, Ron Wood (Stones), Phil Hartmann (murdered by his wife), Evil Kneival, Harry Morgan (M*A*S*H), Riddick Bowe, Mike Tyson and Robin Givens, Bill Murray, Richard Pryor, Paul Anka and his wife, Sean Penn (he pleaded guilty to battering Madonna), Jackson Browne (he allegedly beat Daryll Hannah) , Dennis Hopper, Josh Brolin (he allegedly beat Diane Lane), Gary Coleman, Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, and the list goes on and on of rock and roll stars who trashed their hotel rooms in violent rages.

So can someone provide me with a coherent argument about why Chris Brown is any different then these famous people, all of whom have been able to go on to have successful careers?

4.8 million women in the US are a target of intimate partner violence; 2.9 million men are victims of intimate partner violence in the US each year. Intimate partner violence costs the US 8.3 billion dollars a year in medical costs, therapy, lost productivity from work (2003 figures and likely much higher as it escalates in times of economic uncertainty.) Domestic violence occurs in 30-40% of intimate relationships with straight couples during the span of their relationships, and that figure is likely slightly on the higher end in gay couples, which often times goes grossly under reported.

People who abuse one another are our neighbors, our friends, and members of our family. It is a widespread issue. Perhaps those of you who accuse Chris Brown of being a punk could add some nuance to your argument…..your ignorance about the issue only serves to contribute to the problem by treating a common human condition as if it happens to “those people over there who are different then you.” It doesn’t……its a widespread issue and your ignorance in vilifying people like Chris Brown only serves to perpetuate violence by shaming people who need to learn anger management skills into the shadows. You are the ones who need to bring some intelligence and some empathy to the topic!!

Chris Brown is the man, it’s no big deal that he beat some black bitch, I mean who cares?

When a guy is rich and famous like Chris they’re special and girls that want to hang need to know, they’ve got to learn how to take a punch. Chris has a lot of pressure he’s dealing with, he needs a girl who’s willing and able to absorb what shes got coming when she adds to the pressure by opening her mouth for anything other than a bj.

Bitch is lucky she didn’t get raped and pimped out to his friends as a parting gift.

This is dumb. Everyone needs to get over the fact that these people will have their own fanbases no matter what crap they get up to. And you can hardly say Bieber promoting FAME was “standing up for Chris Brown” obviously the boy’s going to want to people to buy it- he’s on the album! (not hating. I like Biebs AND chris brown. but it’s whatever) …as for Chris’s little tantrum… DO WE REALLY WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT? I don’t care who the victim is, and clearly, Chris Brown and Rihanna couldn’t care less either, and they’re the only people who actually matter in this situation, so the media and the public should shut up about it and MOVE THE F%$&* ON.

Past behavior = future behavior! And Chris just proved that his anger will surface again. As far as Chris ‘releasing his anger’ after the interview…uh, shouldn’t Chris have been prepared for a reporter to ask those questions? He said he gave the station notes on what he would talk about yet the station said that didn’t happen at all. He’s no victim…he a man who can’t handle the truth. He’s promoting an new album and yet people still want to talk about the assault. It will always happen to him. He can’t get away from it, even in 10 years from now. It’s funny…the Dixie Chicks get banned for talking down the President but Chris assaults another singer and he remains. I don’t get it. And as far as Justin goes, the young crowd would support him if he jumped off a bridge, dueting with Chris was genius PR work. Chris and Usher are friends, Justin sang his songs on Utube—a perfect PR plan to help Chris out. I do believe it will bite Justin in the end…Chris has many fans, but you can only tame the lion for so long. And Justin will get caught in the crossfire.

A lot more people stand with Chris after the media continued to bully him even after Rihanna and him moved. He became the victim and more people started to feel sympathy for him. That’s why his album will be number 1 next week.

Chris has had girlfriends before Rihanna and after her and nothing like that has occurred. So far it appears to be an isolated incident unlike Charlie Sheen and others so I will continue to support and pray for him and Rihanna for that matter.
