To appease her parents wishes, Natalie agrees to get married before the baby is born. And her fiance is not happy about it!
There is a wedding tug of war between Natalie Portman‘s family and her future husband Benjamin Millepied. “Natalie’s parents are very religious and traditional and they want her to married before the baby arrives in June,” an insider close to the actress, 29, tells In Touch. However, Benjamin, 33, is looking forward to waiting a while. Uh, oh.
“The wedding is a big point of contention,” Natalie’s insider reveals. Natalie feels stuck in the middle and doesn’t like that she’s being forced to take sides, especially when both parties are huge parts of her life.
But it sounds like Natalie’s parents, Avner and Shelley, have won the war, considering “she has instructed friends to be on call for her wedding in May,” the insider adds. She will be big bellied and glowing by then!
Meanwhile, Benjamin is hoping for a “big, over-the-top Hollywood affair,” says a source close to the dancer/choreographer, while Natalie wants it to be “very simple and casual, with just 50 of her closest friends — including her business partner, Annette Savitch, manager, Aleen Keshishian, childhood pals from Long Island, N.Y. and college chums from Harvard — and family,” says the insider.
Natalie, will wear either Rodarte or Dior, despite her words with John Galliano — “she’s still one of the faces for the brand,” explains the insider of the disgraced Dior designer. But “Natalie isn’t into it all,” adds the insider for the star.
