Ellen asks the question on everyone’s mind — why does Selena keep saying she’s not in a relationship?

Selena Gomez appears on the March 22 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and she’s still being super-defensive about her relationship with Justin Bieber!

Ellen DeGeneres took Selena, 18, to task about her appearance on the show in September 2010, when Ellen grilled her about Justin, 17, and Selena said, “He’s like my little brother.”

Since then, the couple has been spotted canoodling publicly several times. On the new show, Ellen presents the evidence and calls Selena out for the comments, saying, “He’s like your little brother? What do you have to say now?”

Selena coyly replies, “I don’t know. I don’t know,” further prompting Ellen to prod.

“He’s sweet as can be,” Ellen says. “But he’s not like your little brother, is he? No, he’s not. And he’s a fantastic guy. You can’t try to hide that forever. I know you all were sneaking around but that’s crazy. You’re both huge stars, and you can’t hide from us!”

Ellen got the last laugh when she presented Selena with a Bieber pillow — so she wouldn’t be lonely on tour!

Ellen’s right — you can’t hide from the truth, Selena, because we’ve seen the evidence with our own eyes!
