Scarlett Johansson seems to be getting pretty close to Sean Penn. After sharing a romantic dinner with some friends at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood on March 19, Scarlett ducked her head as she sat on Sean’s lap in the backseat during their drive home.
“They were definitely on a date,” a source tells X17Online.com. “These two are way more than just friends.”
“They were smiles all night and seemed to have a great time together,” another source tells People. “Scarlett and Sean sat very closely and exchanged flirty looks.”
Reports have been swirling about Scarlett, 26, and Sean, 50, since she split from her husband Ryan Reynolds in December 2010.
It’s been rumored that they’ve been sharing intimate moments since Scarlett’s been in L.A. filming We Bought a Zoo with Matt Damon.
“Sean is known to be a tough guy but Scarlett seems to soften him,” notes the X17 source. “He’s a boy in love when he’s around her — or at least a boy in lust.”
“Scarlett acted very intrigued by him,” adds the People insider. “She would smile, nod her head and just listen to his stories.”
The couple shared pasta and fish dishes and sipped on wine, while they were at the restaurant.
This wouldn’t be the first time they’ve been seen sharing something. They recently traveled to Mexico together!
