Rebecca-haters, please give the poor 13-year-old a break! She’s no worse a singer than Katy Perry, who is challenged outside the studio, and she sure remembers the words of the National Anthem better than Christina Aguilera!
I don’t understand the vitriol being leveled at the Orange County, Calif., native whose song “Friday” has now racked up over 30,050,577 views on YouTube!
Is that jealousy, I hear, from thousands of pop-sensation wannabees?
And if any established pop stars are laughing behind her back, they should ask themselves — could they produce a hit song and video for $2,000?
I say hooray for the Jonas Brothers, who did a good-natured cover of “Friday” on March 20 in LA at the Concert of Hope, and to Simon Cowell who said he thinks her song is “genius.”
Rebecca has said on Twitter: “we’re currently writing another song. It does not have to do with weekdays, or months, or numbers or colors. Throwing that out there.”
Well I say — good for you, Rebecca! Hope your second song is just as big a hit!

I simply hate rebecca black cause her song was on for a whole day non stop at our school….like every 5 minute break we had “Friday” was on it…annoying as hell, besides Rebecca is even trying to make the song catchy unlike Katy Perry and others =/
