Tammin says there’s still ‘much to uncover’ about Jenna.
I have four words to brace you for tonight’s Pretty Little Liars: Prepare to be shocked! We caught up with Tammin Sursok just hours before the season finale — and she told us things will get “juicier” in Rosewood as we learn more about Jenna’s motivations. “You will not be disappointed,” Tammin told HollywoodLife.com of the game-changing finale.
And why shouldn’t tonight’s episode be full of amazing Jenna moments? She’s been keeping us on the edge of our couches all season! Need I remind you of the epic slap scene between her and Hanna (Ashley Benson) a few weeks ago?
“I was excited to film [the slap scene] as I was able to inject a little raw, human emotion into my character,” Tammin told us. “Normally it comes from a place of hurt and pain and I think this gives layers to a performance. I love playing her. I think there is so much more to uncover.”
And even though Tammin doesn’t play the flute in real life — bummer, right? — she said she has learned a lot by playing a blind character.
“I have so much empathy for visually impaired people,” she said. “I shut my eyes for most of the scenes I shoot so I don’t accidentally see objects out of the corner of my eyes. I find it so difficult and I admire anyone who lives this way.”
